Networking events are designed to provide an opportunity for new media professionals to gather in an informal setting and connect with colleagues - old and new - to discuss happenings around the industry. These sponsored events will be held at various venues around Manhattan throughout the year. Approximate attendance is 700 members.
Educational – Dialed-In / Meet the Marketer
Educational events will focus on the opportunities and challenges that new media offers specific vertical industries and will address specific topics of interest as they relate to the new media community. These events, moderated or hosted by respected industry experts will feature top executives from each industry sharing their insights into how the online channel and emerging media will impact advertising plans, both today and tomorrow as well as educate and inform 212 members regarding these topics. Approximate attendance is 75-100 members.
212 Career Day
Web 2.0 is in full swing, and the interactive advertising industry is challenged to keep up with the growing demand for good talent. 212's Annual Career Day and Job Fair provide your business with the opportunity to get in front of hundreds of candidates actively seeking a job in the interactive space. This one day fair includes 5 panels and a Keynote Address. Approximate attendance is 350 - 400 qualified candidates.
