212 is pleased to announce a special newsmaker event with Arianna Huffington, the visionary co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post. Ms. Huffington is a nationally syndicated columnist, author of eleven books, and ran as an independent candidate to replace Governor Gray Davis in the historic 2003 recall election in California.  In 2006 she was named to the Time 100, TIME’s list of 100 of the world’s most influential people.

Ms. Huffington will speak on how the internet is affecting the presidential race and how advertising dollars are (or are not) shifting online. She will also address how advertisers navigate the minefield of politically charged content, and what The Huffington Post has done to calm those fears.
