| Description: | As a member of the Global Online Display Advertising group at Adzinia, an Amazon company, the Market Research Manager, Global Display Advertising will be part of building a world class marketing organization from the ground up. We are seeking an experienced market research professional who possesses the skills, drive and experience needed to launch our research department in support of our rapidly growing advertising sales efforts. In addition, this role will support our expanding International sales effort through the localization and prioritization of sales collateral for the UK, DE, JP and FR markets. This is a working manager role and will report directly to the Sr. Marketing Manager for Global Online Display Advertising. This role will require a solid background in media and/or advertising research, experience working with advertising RFPs and competitive positioning, as well as the ability to influence and work collaboratively across Sales, Operations and Product Development teams. This role requires a doer: someone who is comfortable pulling and interpreting research first-hand, working in a fast-paced, high volume environment, combined with the ability to guide the Advertising Market Research team to the next level in its evolution. The position requires a motivated, passionate, career oriented self-starter with experience in media research at a publisher, agency or client side company. Qualified individuals would have a solid media research background with three to five years experience working with, and proficiency using, syndicated media studies such as comScore, Nielsen NetRatings, TNS and similar sources. This individual would understand media planning goals and practices, and would apply this knowledge to finding ways that our properties can distinguish themselves versus competitors in meeting our clients' needs. The position would also require experience in secondary vertical research sources, and in particular, sources covering the entertainment, retail, financial, and consumer packaged goods sectors. This individual should also have some experience with primary research, and be comfortable distilling initial research results for use in collateral and related marketing materials. This position involves serving the needs of a rapidly growing Global Display Advertising group in its sales and marketing efforts. As such, this individual must be a team player, work well with a sales team, be able to clarify needs and get to the heart of the issue, work fast and accurately, and be able to make insightful recommendations regarding how to package and position the data for maximum impact. This individual will need to manage many projects at once while ensuring that deadlines are met and data output is accurate and appropriate for the request and the need.
