| Description: | Job Summary: • Search planners (SP) are the day-to-day focal point of the account. The SP is expected to have a complete and unquestioned understanding of their assigned clients search initiatives and client’s overall business and marketing objectives • The SP is steward of the search planning process and is expected to provide mid-level strategic recommendations to the senior search and media team and/or the client. The position is usually supported by the ASP and reports to at least a Search Supervisor level Responsibilities • Day-to-day management of the search plan including oversight of bid recommendations, execution details, budgets/accounting • Keyword analysis – build keyword lists, analyze search volume and make recommendations • Work closely with search engine reps on proposals and optimization • Campaign bid management and optimization using Atlas Search, DART Search, • Text creative copywriting for paid search listings • Oversight and contribution to reporting, analysis and optimization • Training of Asst. Search Planners and oversight of their deliverables • Oversight of client billing Qualifications: • 1-3 years SEM experience with a strong background of planning and buying paid search campaigns • Good writing and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills) • Strong analytic skills and ability to relate results to client business objectives • Proficient at managing projects and able to multi-task, organize, prioritize and structure workload • Knowledge of Search engine interfaces, Neo tools (ad serving) and procedures (both search and inter-department) • Google Adwords professional (GAP) certified |
